Trip February 2011

Mark, Julie and Emily had a really good trip to India in February, both Mark and Emily experienced new things.

Mark travelled on the 3rd and enjoyed the experience of going into Bangladesh for the first time, seeing several potential projects there.

Emily was able to spent time with Julie in four of our projects, they left the UK on the 13th and met up with Mark for a few days.

Emily particularly enjoyed her time in DPS where she spent time with pupils the same age as herself. She was amazed at how poor they were and how they lived;  She was also able to experience how cold it can get in the mountains, as they had a dusting of snow when she was there, it’s a beautiful place to visit but a harsh place to live.
