March trip

Julie, Sharon Davies and Sue Naegeli, had a really good trip as they visited 5 of our 10 projects and celebrated our 10th Anniversary with the children in these projects.

• At SASA the younger children had a party with games planned but unfortunately it rained and rained so the plans were changed with indoor activities. The older children had a lot of fun camping on the dried river bed, this was their first visits away from home and they had never seen or used a sleeping bag before, which added to the excitement.

• DPS there was a major celebration at the school with entertainment from the children, cakes and releasing balloons.

• Jeetgarh celebrated with a very special meal, the children had requested a delicacy ‘goat’ alongside their favourite pudding ( rice pudding) the children watched a DVD Julie had made of the last 10 years this brought back lots of happy memories and they laughed each time they saw themselves.

• Vishwajyoti here we had a family day out at Fun and food in Dehradun, this was the first time they had visited this place as a family so everyone enjoyed watching each other having fun.

• Rafa boys, again we took them all to Fun and food this time in Delhi, it was great to see the lads enjoying themselves.

Another great trip and a good time was had by all. A brilliant way to celebrate our 10th Anniversary with the children and say thank you to God for all is goodness toward us and them since 1999.
