August trip

Mark and Julie  had another good trip to India in August, when they visited several of the projects CHILD’s Trust supports.

Firstly they visited the latest House of Hope (Ashra Kunj) to be set up and met Tsewang a little orphan girl of just 1 year old, who had arrived just a few weeks before.

They then visited the other House of Hope (Vishwa Jyoti) and had fun with all the 8 children, this home now has, again other than the house parents children all the other children are orphans. It is such as joy to see the children as one family and enjoying their new brothers and sisters.

They also visited the Rafa boys and took the lads at Shanti Bhavan out for the day to a zoo.

Mark and Julie are planning their next trip in December when they will finish CHILD’s Trust 10th celebrations by going on a boat trip on the local canal with the girls in Hebron Hostel. If you would like to join them in celebrating here in the UK they have a special weekend booked Saturday Nov 21st is a Celebration and Sunday Nov 22nd is a Thanksgiving service.
