Amazingly 4G group successfully raise funds for Project Orissa

A group of young people (called 4G) living in Basingstoke saw the need and started to raise funds for the Shanti Bhavan project back in September. Their challenge was to raise £11,000 so the new home could be complete. During the Carol Service at Buckskin Evangelical Church this Sunday, December 18th 2011, it was announced that they had successfully raised all the funds.

What an amazing 3 months it has been for this group and what an achievement. Thanks go to each one of them from all of us here, as well as from the lads in the home. Mark and Julie will be visiting them at the end of December.

The Building inauguration is planned for Tuesday  March 27th 2012 when Mark and Mike Duncombe are planning to be there. The boys will then move in to the new building and make it home. Awesome!
